Where ancestral wisdom meets modern wellbeing.

Tonic Apothecary® began simply, with me making herbal tonics for my own wellbeing, just as my mother taught me, and as her mother had taught her before. Like many Windrush Generation from the Caribbean, the knowledge of Roots Tonics, herbs, oils and natural remedies had been passed down through generations, carrying ancestral wisdom from Africa to the Caribbean, and eventually to Britain. These natural remedies helped protect and heal our bodies from the harsh British climate. What she knew from experience, I came to understand through both practice and study.

What began as a personal healing routine gradually grew into something more. I began creating tailor-made tonics to support the wellbeing of others, and from there the range naturally expanded into essential oils, massage oils, creams and skincare, because I believe that true wellbeing comes from looking after ourselves from the inside out.

As my life evolved, so did Tonic.

Tonic Apothecary® is the living expression of that journey. Each blend, jar and drop reflects the roots of ancestral herbal wisdom. It is a brand born from heritage, shaped by science, and crafted with intention, rooted in tradition, and made with love.
